General Description
The heartwood color changes from red, to brown or even orange. As it ages it darkens.
Workability
Easy to work, but tear out may occur when machining pieces with interlocked grain. Glues and finishes well. Nails and screws should be pre-bored.
Durability
Very durable, even to insect attacks.

Veneer, furniture, cabinetry, turned objects, and flooring.
